Emma turned THREE!!!

My baby Emmalynn is three years old. THREE! It's an absolute miracle to me. She is so smart and so beautiful. Okay, enough of the ushy gushy mommy stuff :)

We had her birthday party on January 3rd. We rented a Dora Jump House and it was delivered bright and early on the 3rd. So early that Emma wasn't awake yet. So after the attendant got it all set up, I woke Emma up and told her to go see what was in our backyard. She saw it and said, "Oh my gosh! It's Dora's house!!!" Then she promptly jumped inside and didn't stop till that evening. Of course there were a few breaks, we had to eat breakfast, take a bath, open presents, eat cake, watch Elmo to cool off for a bit... etc... But she absolutely loved it! Toward the end of the day I started telling her that Dora was going to need her house back because she would have to have somewhere to sleep tonight. So while Emmalynn, Breelynn, and Mackenna played in Emma's room, the Dora House was taken down and driven away.

The next day was Sunday and she could not stop talking about it. Every person that told us Good Morning promptly got a full blown description of the Dora House and the explanation that Dora had to come and take her house back so that she could go to sleep. It was so adorable to hear her explain it all.

We had such a fun fun time!!!
