Garden Ridge had their HUGE blow out sale this past weekend, so Michael and I went to rummage through the mess to find the perfect deals and decorate our home for Christmas. (Which, by the way, he will never admit it but this was his idea!)So we found the perfect Tree Trimmings, the perfect House Lights, the perfect Bush Lights, and the perfect little Yard Stakes! We took it all home and got the house all beautified for Christmas time.
When the girls got home that evening, we had the lights all turned on. Emmalynn was so excited that she couldn't stop chattering. She said things like "It's just like birthday time!" "Look at the lights! But I can't reach em!" And then she would just run back and forth. Breelynn was still groggy eyed from being asleep when she got home but she was just as intrigued by the lights. Mom and Dave came over to visit and they were trying so hard to get Emmalynn to sing for them. Even the dog had Christmas energy! Maggie just ran in circles around everyone, furthering Emmalynn's excitement.
All in all, it was a really wonderful time and we are all really excited for Christmas time!
Michael is determined to get more lights and really impress the neighbors, but this is perfect for now :)
