Those of you who know me know that I am an all natural kind of girl.
For all of my life I have not had tattoos, not colored my hair, not fixed my hair with crazy product, and used the 'less is more' mentality for make up. So very recently, I've had a huge life turn around!
About 3 months ago I got my first tattoo, a cute little heart inspired by my children and stolen from James Avery :)
Last night... after much deliberation, I got highlights. My hair dresser, who has also become my friend, Miss Dana Vasquez, came over to my place. Tabitha, my best friend, and our girls joined us. The babies played in Emma's room and outside in my massive backyard most of the night while the bigger girls played with my hair, ate pizza, and drank beer. It was an awesome night and my hair turned out pretty good. While Dana was hooking me up with lots of foil in my hair Emma or Bree would occasionally come and see the progress. All of the girls were worried about whether I was being hurt or not. It was so adorable :)
It's going to take some getting used to but my new hair style looks pretty good.
